Welcome to SecondWorld, a website created to help children of divorce. Whether your parents are about to divorce or have been more many years, we hope this webpage has something to help you navigate through this journey. Although everyone's experience is different, sharing stories can help us understand what is happening in our situations and the emotions we experience due to these.
About Me
My name is Bea and my parents divorced when I was five. At this age, I didn't always know what was happening and similarly my parents didn't know what to do to help. They often bought me books on divorce and we even watched movies that incorporated this subject. As I grew older I found there are many children who go through these experiences throughout their life and sometimes need the support of people who understand the experiences. So I created this site to hopefully provide some support for anyone in a similar situation.

About Our Mission
We found that there are many children in similar positions who may be navigating the different stages of divorce without knowing what to do and who do not have enough resources to help them work through their situations. So we wanted to create SecondWorld for the children, so that they can read other stories and experiences in the hope that these help them. Through shared story platforms and forums, we aim to create a safe space for children to connect with peers, share experiences, and find comfort and guidance throughout the different stages of divorce.
